Word of AI's mouth for your brand.

AI visibility for OTC, cosmetic, and nutraceutical brands

GetPreferred™ is an ImpactPlus service that helps OTC, cosmetic, and nutraceutical brands be read, trusted and cited by AI assistants such as ChatGPT, Google Gemini, Google AI Overviews, Claude, and Perplexity. It measures where your brand stands today, fixes what stops AI from reading and trusting it, and reports the change every month.

A thirty-minute call with the founder, then a written baseline: the buyer questions for your category put to five AI assistants, and which brands they name. Free, with no obligation.

What is AI visibility?

AI visibility is how often AI assistants name, recommend or cite your brand when buyers ask about your category.

OpenAI said in January 2026 that over 230 million people ask ChatGPT health and wellness questions each week. In February 2026, OpenAI said India has 100 million weekly ChatGPT users.

Why

Why AI assistants name one brand and not another

Buyers now ask AI assistants what to buy, and act on the answer. That is word of AI's mouth, and like any word of mouth, it can be earned.

AI assistants are more likely to recommend a brand when three things are true:

  • Its website is easy for AI systems to read.

  • The website states verifiable facts plainly: what is in the product, who it is for, where to buy it.

  • Trusted third-party sources repeat the same facts, each one stating its connection to the brand.

Where few brands in a category have all three in place, the answers AI gives often name no brand at all. That position is open. That gives the first brand in a category to put all three in place a head start.

WAYS TO WORK WITH US

Four ways to work with GetPreferred

  • The full service

Brand facts, a website AI assistants can read, pages that answer buyers, presence beyond your website, and a monthly report. For a brand already on the market.

  • Launch support

For a new OTC, cosmetic or nutraceutical product: confirmed facts and a product page ready on launch day, and a monthly report on what AI assistants say in the first months.

  • Monitoring only

The monthly measurement and report on their own: a smaller set of buyer questions, three months, and no website or content work.

  • For pharma companies

For your company's name and facts, and for the business buyers looking for contract manufacturing, API or licensing partners. Company facts only; no promotion of prescription medicines.

How we measure

AI visibility: how often AI assistants name your brand when buyers ask without naming any brand.

AI recommendation: how often they suggest your brand as the one to buy.

Share of voice: your brand's mentions as a share of all brand mentions in those answers.

Accuracy: whether what they say about your brand is correct, checked on questions that name the brand.

FAQ

Questions brand teams ask

What is GetPreferred?

GetPreferred is a service from ImpactPlus for consumer health and wellness brands: OTC medicines, cosmetics and personal care, food supplements, nutraceuticals and health foods. It measures which brands AI assistants name for a category, makes the client's website easier for those assistants to read and trust, guides the brand's team in carrying the same verified facts to trusted third-party sources, each disclosing its connection to the brand, and reports each month how often AI assistants name and recommend the brand. It also works for pharma companies (their corporate brand and their business buyers), for new products at launch, and as monitoring only.

Is this SEO, AEO, GEO, AIO or SXO?

All five, working together. Search engine optimisation (SEO) helps search engines find and rank your pages. Answer engine optimisation (AEO) and generative engine optimisation (GEO) help AI assistants read, trust and cite them. AI optimisation (AIO) keeps your brand facts, site structure and profiles consistent for AI systems. Some people also use AIO as short for Google AI Overviews, so check which meaning is meant. Search experience optimisation (SXO) makes sure a buyer who arrives can find what they need and buy.

Which AI assistants does it cover?

ChatGPT, Google Gemini, Google AI Overviews, Claude, and Perplexity. Each is tested separately because each selects sources differently; a brand cited by one can be absent from another.

How long before results show?

The baseline assessment is done before you sign, so month 1 starts with the facts sheet and the website work. The first new pages and third-party mentions usually appear in the first three months. The same buyer questions are re-tested every month from month 1, and each monthly report shows the change against the baseline. AI assistants take time to pick up new pages, so most engagements run for three to six months and then continue month by month.

How does GetPreferred handle ASCI, DMRA, FSSAI, and CCPA rules?

Every page is built from facts your team confirms in writing. For each claim, we recommend how it should appear: in your own wording, as shown on your pack, with its published proof, or held back for now. Your brand decides, with its own regulatory review, and nothing is published without your written approval. We do not write claims that the Drugs and Magic Remedies Act prohibits. Every expert's connection to the brand is disclosed, and no registered medical practitioner endorses a product.

What does it cost?

GetPreferred is priced by scope: the number of brands or products, the categories and questions tested, and the depth of website and content work. Monitoring only, with no website or content work, is the lightest option. The baseline assessment is free. Pricing is shared after the assessment, once the scope is clear.
